About Our Farm

Embracing the beauty of nature, our farm on over 70 acres near the Mississippi Palisades inspires hunting, tree cultivation, growing sustainable crops and limitless possibilities.

We are excited to announce we have partnered with another neighboring family and have a small egg-producing chicken flock, utilizing exclusively organic, non-GMO feed and providing access to unlimited grass and insects. The chickens are protected from environmental factors and predators within a schooner, with periodic relocation. This method enables concurrent soil tilling and fertilization, yielding high-quality eggs.

In addition to our egg-layers, we have initiated small flocks of meat chickens a few times a year. Our meat chickens receive the same high standard of care as our layers, with dignity from hatch to harvest.

Pick up can be in Savanna, IL or Glen Ellyn, IL. Shipping on meat chickens can be arranged for additional cost.

Currently, we are selling a dozen eggs for $8 each and the whole chickens will be $5 per pound (prices subject to change).

We accept cash, check or Venmo as payment. We truly believe that understanding the origin of your food is empowering and strive to treat animals with reverence from birth to harvest. If you'd like to support our little farm, please like and share our page!
